PUBLIC INQUIRY

20 February 2024 at 9:30am at Council Offices Queen Victoria Road High Wycombe HP11 1BB

Reason for Inquiry: Appeals by Mr Colin Smith, Mr Richard Smith, Mrs Claire Smith & Mrs Christine Smith against the enforcement notices served by Buckinghamshire Council - East Area (Chiltern).

The notices allege: Without planning permission: A material change of use of the land to a mixed use, comprising commercial and residential by virtue of the siting of a mobile home (the Unauthorised Use) and the extension of hardstanding to create a parking/turning area (the Unauthorised Development) at Traps Meadow, Whelpley Hill, Chesham HP5 3RL.

An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State under paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 6 to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 will attend at the place, date and time shown above to decide the appeals. The Appeal Inquiry is anticipated to last for 2 days. Members of the public may attend the Inquiry and, at the discretion of the Inspector, express their views. If you are disabled or anyone you know who wants to go to the inquiry is disabled, contact the Council at planning.appeals.csb@buckinghamshire.gov.uk to confirm they can make proper arrangements such as parking spaces, access, seating arrangements and so on. Please note: although appeal reference APP/X0415/W/22/3298566 (PL/22/0601/DE) Approval of reserved matters following outline approval PL/19/0587/OA for demolition of existing commercial building and wooden workshop. Erection of new dwelling (matters to be considered: appearance, access, landscaping, layout and scale) has been linked to the enforcement appeals it will still follow the written representation appeal procedure and will NOT be considered at the Inquiry.
