What is planned?

(BRIDGE INSPECTION – VARIOUS ROADS, DUMFRIES & GALLOWAY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 – 

SCHEDULE A
The Council hereby give notice under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 of their intention to temporarily close the following roads at the following locations:

The closures are necessary in the interests of road safety and to facilitate bridge inspection works by over-under mobile elevated working platform vehicle. The closures are planned to be undertaken during the period of 12th February to 1st March 2024 and shall have effect only at such times as indicated by appropriate signs.

Emergency Services access will be available. Pedestrian access will not be maintained as no frontage properties will be directly affected. For more information, Tel – 03033 333 000

NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 21
The proposed development at Rowancraig Wind Farm, Sanquhar, is subject to environmental impact assessment under the Town and Country Planning (Environment Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017 as it is likely to have significant effects on the environment.

Notice is hereby given that an EIA Report has been submitted to Dumfries and Galloway Council by Green Cat Renewables Ltd relating to the planning application in respect of: ERECTION OF 6 WIND 

TURBINES (MAX HEIGHT 180 METRES TO BLADE TIP), FORMATION OF ACCESS TRACKS, WATER CROSSINGS, TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION COMPOUND, PARKING, ERECTION OF CONTROL BUILDING, ON-SITE SUBSTATION, STORAGE COMPOUND, AND ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE.

REFERENCE NUMBER 24/0025/FUL
Possible decisions relative to the application are:

(i) Approval without conditions
(ii) Approval with conditions
(iii) Refusal
