TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 PUBLIC INQUIRY At Bee House, 140 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Oxfordshire OX14 4SB Opening on 20 February 2024 at 10:00am
REASON FOR INQUIRY
Application for planning permission by Oxfordshire County Council referred to the Secretary of State under section 77 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 for Planning application seeking full planning permission for:
- the dualling of the A4130 carriageway (A4130 Widening) from the Milton Gate Junction eastwards, including the construction of three roundabouts;
- a road bridge over the Great Western Mainline (Didcot Science Bridge) and realignment of the A4130 north east of the proposed road bridge including the relocation of a lagoon;
- construction of a new road between Didcot and Culham (Didcot to Culham River Crossing) including the construction of three roundabouts, a road bridge over the Appleford railway sidings and road bridge over the River Thames;
- construction of a new road between the B4015 and A415 (Clifton Hampden bypass), including the provision of one roundabout and associated junctions; and
- controlled crossings, footways and cycleways, landscaping, lighting, noise barriers and sustainable drainage systems.

There are dedicated disabled parking spaces to the front of Bee House. The inquiry rooms are all on the ground floor on one level with no ramps/thresholds. The side door to the reception has access for disabled visitors. Seating in the inquiry room itself will be laid out to facilitate access, seats can be easily moved to accommodate an electric wheelchair for example. The ground floor toilets are fully accessible.
