The Council has received applications: ST/0766/23/HFUL for conversion of attached garage into study and storage with addition of dormer window at 35 Front Street, East Boldon, NE36 0SE which is within the East Boldon Conservation Area. ST/0855/23/HFUL for demolition of existing conservatory and addition of orangery. at Boldon Hall, Redcar Terrace, West Boldon, NE36 0PZ which is within the West Boldon Conservation Area. ST/0706/23/HFUL for demolish existing single storey rear kitchen extension. Construct new part single storey/part two storey rear utility/kitchen/dining room/sun lounge/ensuite bedroom extension with 4no. rooflights, cream render to walls, white woodgrain UPVC sliding sash windows and black powder coated aluminium doors. at 1 Ashleigh Villas, East Boldon, NE36 0LA which is within the East Boldon Conservation Area. ST/0010/24/HFUL for replacement of 2 no. roof windows at The Cottage, 2 Barns Close, Jarrow, NE32 5NY which is within the Monkton Conservation Area. As these are householder applications, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about the applications will automatically be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage. ST/0306/23/FUL for to upgrade the tennis court lights from 1000w halide bulb to LED heads. at South Shields and Westoe Club, 33 Dean Road, South Shields, NE34 4EUM which is within the Westoe Village Conservation Area. ST/0699/23/LAA for a three storey teaching extension and single storey dining extension to the existing Mortimer Community College, allowing the increase in pupil numbers from a 7 to 8 Form Entry School. Associated landscape, parking provision and existing sprinkler tank to be revised/ re-provided as a result of the extension at Mortimer Community College, Reading Road, South Shields, NE33 4UG. ST/0862/23/LBC for Listed Building Consent to replace internal condenser unit and install new air conditioning unit internally (retrospective) at Jarrow Town Hall, Grange Road, Jarrow, NE32 3LE which is a listed building. ST/0864/23/LBC for Listed Building Consent for demolition of existing conservatory and addition of orangery at Boldon Hall, Redcar Terrace, West Boldon, NE36 0PZ which is a listed building.ST/0876/23/FUL for full planning permission for the erection of 50 residential dwellings with associated infrastructure, landscaping and MUGA reprovision at Land at Inverness Road, Jarrow. ST/0013/24/FUL for erection of single storey sun lounge and smoking shelter to first floor at Riverside, 3 Mill Dam, South Shields, NE33 1EQ which is within the Mill Dam Conservation Area.
