THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS AND CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990, SECTIONS 70 & 71 DRAFT APPRAISAL OF THE BUCK LANE AND NORTHWICK CIRCLE CONSERVATION AREA BOUNDARIES

NOTICE IS GIVEN under the provisions of the 1990 Act that the London Borough of Brent has assessed the special architectural and historic interest of the Buck Lane and Northwick Circle Conservation Area boundaries and has drawn up proposals for a reduction to the extent of their boundaries (as required by Section 70 of the Act). The proposed reduction in the boundaries to the conservation areas have been assessed in detail, the results of which have been set out in a draft Conservation Area Appraisal (as required by Section 71 of the Act).

The Council is seeking public views on the draft Appraisals and the extent of the new boundaries proposed. A six-week public consultation begins on 29 January and ends on 11 March 2024 to seek the views of residents, landowners and other interested stakeholders. The draft Appraisal Document, which includes the proposed conservation area boundary, can be found at www.brent.gov.uk/heritage and is available for inspection at Brent public libraries.

Any person may make representations on the draft Appraisal Documents and the proposed boundary changes. Views can be made using the online survey at www.brent.gov.uk/heritage. The deadline for comment is 11 March 2024 5pm.
