Midlothian Planning Notices
Applications for Planning Permission, Listed Building Consent and Conservation Area Consent listed below together with the plans and other documents submitted with them may be examined at the Midlothian Council Website. Please note that the Council offi ces are currently closed due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. If you cannot use the online service we will do our best to help you view the plans via alternative means. For further assistance with this please email the Planning Helpdesk at development.management@midlothian.gov.uk. If you have no access to email please contact Planning via the Midlothian Council Contact Centre at 0131 270 7500.
Written comments should be submitted to the Planning Manager, Place Directorate, Fairfi eld House, 8 Lothian Road, Dalkeith EH22 3ZN, or via the Midlothian Council website by the dates specifi ed. Representations must be made as described here, even if you have made comment to the applicant prior to the application being made.

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (U68 CARRINGTON BARNS ROAD, CARRINGTON) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2024 TTRO/R 5.4.223
Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffi c Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate carriageway patching works, U68 Carrington Barns Road, Carrington will be closed between Carrington and Gore Glen Woodland Park. The Order which has a maximum duration of 18 months has effect from 5 February 2024. The work is expected to take about 2 weeks to complete. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffi c will be clearly sign posted.
