LOCATION:- Land south of M20, Church Lane, Aldington, Kent
APPLICANT:- EDF Renewables
APPLICATION DATE: 27/06/2022
The applicant has applied to Ashford Borough Council (address below) for planning permission for:-
Installation of a solar farm with a generating capacity of up to 49.9MW comprising: ground mounted solar panels; access tracks; inverter/transformers; substation; storage, spare parts and welfare cabins; underground cables and conduits; perimeter fence; CCTV equipment; temporary construction compounds; and associated infrastructure and planting scheme.
REASON FOR NOTICE:- Further information relating to the Environmental Statement (ES) received. Major Development Proposal, Affects Public Right of Way.
Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, the plans, the Environmental Statement and the other documents submitted with the application:
- on a computer link by pre-booked appointment only at Ashford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Tannery Lane, Ashford between 9.00am and 4.00pm (Monday to Friday) – please contact the Council on (01233) 331111;
2. on a computer link at the Ashford Gateway Plus, Church Road, Ashford 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm on Thursdays and 9:00am – 3:00pm on Saturdays;
3. at www.ashford.gov.uk using the planning application search links inputting the following reference: 22/00668/AS
Printed copies of the ES and further information are also available and are charged at £200 + VAT per hard copy.
