What is planned?

Borough of Telford & Wrekin

Telford & Wrekin Council has received the following planning applications which require publication.

TWC/2024/0025 – Jubilee House, 74 High Street, Madeley – Installation and display of 1no. electronic noticeboard

TWC/2024/0029 & TWC/2024/0030 – The Beacon Lounge, 6-7 Market Square, Wellington – Change of use of first and second floor to 11no. bed house of multiple occupancy with internal alterations (Full Planning & Listed Building Applications)

TWC/2024/0031 – Site of 26, 28, 30, 32 Webb Crescent/2, 4, 6, 8 Windsor Road, Dawley – Variation of condition 3 (drainage) and 13 (approved plans) on planning permission TWC/2020/0886 (Demolition of existing maisonettes and garages and the erection 

TWC/2024/0036 – Old Post Office, 117 High Street, Newport – Conversion of existing building to provide 2no. new dwellings and 1no. ground floor commercial unit (Full Planning Application)of 18no. dwellings with associated landscaping and parking) to allow changes to the approved plans to amend the house types

TWC/2024/0040 – Tontine Hotel, The Square, Ironbridge – Replacement, repair or upgrade of 25no. internal doors and frames, upgrade of existing fire alarm system including internal emergency/ escape lighting and installation of side and rear external lighting

The above application(s) can be viewed on planning online at https:// secure.telford.gov.uk/planning/home.aspx. Written representations can be made on planning online or by email at planning.control@ telford.gov.uk and need to be received by 8th February 2024 (14 days for public service infrastructure development or permission in principle applications), excluding public/bank holidays and 30 days for applications accompanied by an environmental statement from the date of this publication.

If a written representation appeal is made to the Secretary of State for a householder or minor commercial application no further representations can be made and existing representations will be forwarded to them.
