Austwick, Public Footpath Definitive Map And Statement Modification And Diversion Order
What is planned?
NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 7 OF SCHEDULE 14 YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY FOOTPATH NO. 20 AND BRIDLEWAY NO. 61, AUSTWICK DIVERSION ORDER 2023
On 19 December 2023 the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority confirmed the above Order. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert public Footpath No. 20 running from a point on the western side of the boundary wall at Grid Reference SD 8008 6969 bearing south, south easterly for approx. 80 metres joining Bridleway No. 61 at Grid Reference SD 8010 6961 and from this point to divert public Bridleway No. 61 bearing south east and then south, south east for approx. 128 metres to Grid Reference SD 8016 6951. Footpath No. 20 will be diverted onto a line running from GR SD 8008 6969 following the wall boundary south east for approx. 88 metres to GR SD 8013 6962. Bridleway No. 61 will be diverted onto a line running from its junction with Footpath No. 20 at GR SD 8013 6962 following the wall boundary south, south easterly for approx. 118 metres to join the existing bridleway at GR SD 8016 6951, as shown on the Order map. This Order comes into force on the date on which Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority certify that the terms of Article 2 of the Order have been complied with, but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under Section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to that Act.
