Notice of intended disposal of open space land

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 ("the Act") that Torfaen County Borough Council intends to exercise its powers under Section 123(1) of the Act to dispose of parcels of land which are for identification purposes described in the Schedule to this notice and shown edged red on the plans referred to in the Schedule.

Torfaen County Borough Council consider that the parcels of land consist or form part of an open space within the meaning of Section 123 (2A) of the Act and is therefore required to consider any objections to the proposed disposals which may be made to it.

Plans showing the location of the parcels of land are available upon request by emailing Mark.Panniers@torfaen.gov.uk. Objections to the intended disposal (s) must be made in writing and addressed to Mark Panniers at Civic Centre, Pontypool, Torfaen NP4 6YB or by email to Mark.Panniers@torfaen.gov.uk by no later than 16 February 2024.
