THE MARRIAGE & CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS (APPROVED PREMISES) REGULATIONS 2005
The Marriage Act 1949 and the Civil Partnerships Act 2004 makes provision for proceedings to take place at any Register Office or building approved under the terms of these Acts which have been granted and approved by Bedford Borough Council within its administrative boundary.
A building seeking to be approved should be permanent, have and provide a dignified and seemly location for the solemnisation of a Civil Marriage and the formation of a Civil Partnership.
Application has been received from the following:

Seeking the approval of the Authority to the premises known as:
Woodland Manor Hotel, Green Lane, Clapham, Bedford, MK41 6EP
Autograph, Maximum Capacity 112
Library, Maximum Capacity 30
Conservatory, Maximum Capacity 30
being granted under the Acts for the proceedings referenced in those Acts. The approval, if granted, will be valid for a period of three years from the date of issue.

The Authority is considering whether approval should be granted. Members of the public have the right to object. An objection should be made in writing to the address given below and must be received within 21 days of the date of publication of this notice. All objections will be considered by the Authority and all objectors will be notified in writing of the final decision.
