NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15 (1A) APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION

ACCOMPANIED BY AN ENVIRNMENTAL STATEMENT

The proposal is a major development, a departure from the development plan and is accompanied by an Environmental Statement.

Proposed development at Land South of Church Whitfield Road, Whitfield, CT16 3NT,

I give notice that Danescroft (Whitfield) LLP and Pauline Broadley are applying to Dover District Council for planning permission for –

A hybrid planning application for the erection of up to 445 dwellings comprising an outline element (with all matters reserved except access) for a residential development of up to 357no. dwellings, and a detailed element for 88no. dwellings with associated landscaping, internal access roads, and infrastructure

Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, plans and any other submitted documents via the Council’s website at
www.dover.gov.uk/planning

Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application should write to Regeneration & Development Dover District Council, White Cliffs Business Park, Dover, Kent CT16 3PJ or comment via the Council’s website (to include a postal address) quoting reference number 23/01458 by 2nd February 2024 and marked for the attention of the Case Officer Adam Reynolds.

You are advised that failure to meet the deadline may jeopardise the chances of representations being considered. Letters and emails will be made available for inspection by the public and may be copied to others.

Due to the high number of comments received, representations will not be acknowledged and the Council will not normally enter into correspondence with the public on applications.

Most applications will be decided under officer delegated powers. Details of procedural matters may be found on the Council’s website.
