AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2017 (AS AMENDED)
Medway Council as Local Planning Authority has received the following applications which are being advertised to ascertain the views of persons living near the sites and other interested parties. The proposed developments relate to one or more of the following:
1. The site of the application is within/affecting the setting of a designated
Conservation Area (Section 73) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990;
2. The application relates to, or affects the setting of a Listed Building (Section 67) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990;
3. The application is for a Major Development;
7. The site of the application is affecting the setting of an Ancient Monument

Reason 3 Outline application for the erection of up to 21 dwellings with some matters reserved (landscaping, appearance, layout and scale) except for access
MC/23/2790 38 And 40 High Street, Rochester, Medway, ME1 1LJ
Reason 1 Demolition of the existing building and construction of an infill building at
Reason 2 38 High Street comprising of a commercial unit at ground floor level and
Reason 7 three residential units above. Alterations to the existing building at 40 High Street to facilitate the raising of the main roof height alongside the
construction of dormer windows to the front and rear elevations, the
insertion of an additional window on the rear elevation and associated
ancillary works to parking forecourt including plant and bin enclosures and
light well.

Reason 2 Listed Building application to facilitate a change of use in No 1 Esplanade and Senlac House from mixed use (residential and commercial) Class C (3) and E to commercial use class E (g)(i); Refurbishment of No 1 Esplanade and Senlac House, together with the reconfiguration and rebuilding of a cluster of intermittent buildings in order to create new offices and various internal refurbishments to both sites. Various refurbishments to Gundulph Square

Reason 3 Demolition of the existing buildings, clearance of the site and the creation of 14 new homes and associated amenity, landscaping, access and parking.
MC/23/2857 Land at the former Sturdee Club and land at Stoke Road, Hoo St, Werburgh, ME3 9BJ,

Construction of 134no. residential dwellings (including affordable and over
55’s homes), children’s nursery (Class E(f)), cafe/community hub (Class E(b)/

play areas. Access to be from 4no. new locations from Stoke Road. Provision
of roads, parking spaces and earthworks - Demolition of the Sturdee Club and associated structures
