NOTICE OF APPLICATIONS FOR PLANNING PERMISSION

Notice is hereby given that the Council has received the following applications which need to be advertised for the reasons set out below:

P1766.23, Carpetright Plc, Southend Arterial Road, Hornchurch.

Demolition of the existing building and storage lockers to rear of site; redevelopment of the site to provide a standalone building to be operated as a self-storage facility (Class B8 use), with a GIA of 1,487sqm; provision of 16 car parking spaces, including 1 disabled bay and 3 electric charging bay; provision of 6 short-stay cycle car parking spaces; provision of refuse storage to rear of site.

This is a major development because it involves the provision of a building or buildings where the floor space to be created by the development is 1000 square metres or more

P1876.23, 217 High Street, Hornchurch.

Single storey side and part rear extension with conversion of garage and alterations to fenestrations.

The development is in a Conservation Area
