DEVELOPMENT AFFECTING A LISTED BUILDING
HS/FA/23/00836 Site of former 59, High Street, Hastings. Variation of condition 4 (design and method statement of the foundations, piling configurations, drainage and services to preserve archaeological remains.) of Planning Permission HS/FA/21/00139 (New dwelling) Amendment to the wording of condition 4 from prior to commencement to
"i. No excavation below the level of the previous building's concrete floor, such level to be determined and agreed as per the methodology set out in the WSI of condition 3, shall take place until a further amendment to the WSI is submitted to and approved in writing by the local authority, detailing the extent and nature of the proposed excavations below this level and the proposed archaeological mitigation. ii. Following the outcome of any further archaeological investigations required, details of the foundations, piling configurations, drainage and services, to include a detailed design and method statement, shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority, such details to show, where necessary, the preservation of surviving archaeological remains which are to remain in situ"

AMENDED PLANS APPLICATIONS
HS/FA/23/00641 The John Logie Baird Public House, 29-31 Havelock Road & 4 Middle Street, Hastings. Conversion of No. 4 Middle Street to a mixed use of restaurant (class Eb) and drinking establishment (class sui generis), with the extension of existing beer garden at Nos. 29-31 Havelock Road into neighbouring building (No. 4 Middle Street) which is to be stripped back and reduced in height by one storey to form part of the covered garden with ground and mezzanine level customer seating (amended description).. Proposed Amendment: Description amended.

Requests for confidentiality cannot be accepted.
* Comments made on this application will be sent to the Secretary of State if an appeal is received and dealt with under the 'written representations' procedure. No comments can be made at the appeal stage.
