What is planned?

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be advertised under the above legislation for the reasons stated.

Application No: ZA23/25537/AGRRES. Proposal: Prior approval notification for change of use of agricultural building to form 5 no. dwelling for Mr & Mrs Metcalfe. Location: Stainton Hall, Agricultural Buildings Stainton Hall Bank Newton Reason(s): Prior Notification for Change of Use

Application No: ZA23/25387/LBC. Proposal: New timber windows and minor internal refurbishment to bathroom and the creation of a shower room for Mr S Cochrane. Location: 2 South View Carleton BD23 3DD Reason(s): Proposes works to a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA23/25527/HH. Proposal: Single storey rear extension and new dormer to rear roof for Mr Ross Kirkham. Location: 20 Salisbury Street Skipton BD23 1NQ Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA23/25517/HH. Proposal: Conversion and extension of garden room/garage to form a granny annexe for Jessica Boyd. Location: 17 West Bank Road Skipton BD23 1QT Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA23/25384/HH. Proposal: Proposed new garden office for Mr Cryer. Location: Leardene House Draughton BD23 6EA Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA23/25519/FUL. Proposal: Proposed slurry lagoon with raised bund for CN & SA Harrison. Location: Lowground Farm Eller Gill Lane Elslack BD23 3AR Reason(s): Would affect the route of a public right of way.

Application No: ZA23/25281/LBC. Proposal: Proposed sun room to rear elevation and detached garden room for Mr Ian Ackroyd. Location: 6 South Street Gargrave BD23 3RT Reason(s): Proposes works to a Listed Building.

Application No: 2022/24458/OUT. Proposal: Outline application for up to 27 dwellings with all matters reserved except for access for Mr Thomas Marshall. Location: Land South of Low Bentham Road High Bentham LA2 7BP Reason(s): Is a Major Development proposal.

Application No: ZA23/25442/HH. Proposal: Proposed general renovation and conversion of rear offset to provide additional accommodation for Mr Mark & Mrs Faraday. Location: Ivy Cottage Bank Bottom Ingleton LA6 3HB Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA23/25523/FUL. Proposal: Change of use of land for the installation of ground mounted solar PV arrays and associated works for Mr and Mrs Thomas and Jane Marshall. Location: Field to North of Riverside Caravan Park Slaidburn Road High Bentham LA2 7FJ Reason(s): Would affect the route of a public right of way.

Application No: ZA23/25522/FUL. Proposal: Change of use of land for the siting of 6 no. additional static caravans for Mr and Mrs Thomas and Jane Marshall. Location: Riverside Caravan Park Slaidburn Road High Bentham LA2 7FJ Reason(s): Affects the setting of a Listed Building. Would affect the route of a public right of way.

Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 30th December 2023.
