23/02368/MAW - Northumbria Roads Limited Hudson Dock North Side Barrack Street Sunderland. Aggregate Industries UK Limited is applying to the Local Planning Authority for: Proposed siting and use of a site cabin. The proposed development does not accord with the provisions of the Development Plan.
23/02427/VAR - Land North Of Burdon Lane Burdon Sunderland. Barratt David Wilson Homes North East is applying to the Local Planning Authority for: Variation of condition 2 (approved plans) attached to 22/00987/REM (Reserved Matters application (layout, scale, appearance and landscaping) comprising 64 residential dwellings (2, 3 and 4 bed properties). (Following hybrid approval 19/01497/HY4) to incorporate revised house types to 31 plots.
23/02425/VAR - Land North Of Burdon Lane Burdon Sunderland. Barratt David Wilson Homes North East is applying to the Local Planning Authority for: Variation of Condition 2 (Approved Plans) pursuant to 23/00663/VA4 to incorporate 1no. revised house type within Development Cell C2. This is to amend the approved 3 bed house type, Archford, to a new 3 bed house type HS52, located on Plot Nos 74/75, 77/78, 81/82, 84/85, 90/91, 92-94, 105-107, 110-112, 124-126, 131-133.

23/02397/HY4 - Land East and West of The Southern Side of The Northern Spire Bridge and South of Paul Watson Way, Sunderland. Sunderland City Council and Fulwell Cain Studios Limited is applying to the Local Planning Authority for: Hybrid planning application for the creation of a film and tv studios to include the following: Detailed planning approval for the erection of soundstages with attached office buildings, production workshops, a gateway building containing security checkpoint, hospitality and administrative facilities, a multi-storey car park, a substation, a waste recycling centre, ancillary structures including for the storage of bins and cycles, with associated earthworks, site accesses, drainage, landscaping and infrastructure provision. Outline planning approval (matters reserved: scale, layout, appearance and landscaping) for film and tv studio uses including sound stages, production offices and production workshops with ancillary hospitality and administrative facilities, ancillary buildings / structures including for sub-stations, waste and cycle storage; the conversion of the red brick building into a technical education academy associated with the tv and film industry; a vendors village to provide offices and warehousing for supporting businesses; multi storey car park; the demolition of all other buildings on site; with site accesses, earthworks, drainage, landscaping and infrastructure provision. Temporary planning approval for 'meanwhile uses' associated with backlots (external filming areas) including temporary structures and infrastructure.
The application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement.
The application relates to development intended to be carried out on land or buildings owned by Sunderland City Council and affects the setting of various listed buildings which are is included in the Statutory List of Buildings of Architectural or Historic Interest. The proposed development is also within 10 metres of relevant railway land and does not accord with the provisions of the Development Plan.
