What is planned?

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be advertised under the above legislation for the reasons stated.

Application No: ZA23/25503/FUL. Proposal: Demolition of existing workshop building and construction of new detached dwelling for Mr Robert Randell Location: The Workshop The Moorings Chapel Hill Skipton BD23 1NL Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA23/25486/HH. Proposal: Demolition of existing garage to provide off road parking single storey rear extension for Mr Robert Dawson Location: Linden The Square Ingleton LA6 3EG Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA23/25479/LBC. Proposal: Removing deteriorating paint from external walls external window/ door alterations for Bradley Hardacre Ltd Location: Ackroyds Wine Bar 2 Water Street Skipton BD23 1PB Reason: Proposes works to a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA23/25504/VAR. Proposal: Application to vary condition no 2 Approved Plans of planning approval reference 2022/24152/HH for Mr Duxbury Location: Old School House Gisburn Road West Marton BD23 3JJ Reason: Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA23/25484/FUL. Proposal: The proposal is to remove the staircase to the northeast of the site excluding the ornate posts and roof structure and replace like for like the staircase metal work to match the detailing of the existing staircase the purpose of this is because the existing metalwork has corroded beyond repair and has left the current stair unsafe for use for Praxis Real Estate Management Location: Craven Court High Street Skipton BD23 1DG Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

The applications are available to view and for comment online at publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications or electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.

Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 21st December 2023.

All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet.
