Notice under Regulation 7(2) (b) Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant

Pre-Application Public Event

Breedon Trading Limited are preparing to submit a planning application to East Ayrshire Council with respect to a proposed lateral extension and deepening of Tincorn Hill Quarry, Sorn, Mauchline KA5 6JF.

An initial public consultation event will be held at The Cabin, 59 Main Street, Sorn, Mauchline, KA5 6HU where the development team will be available explain the development proposals and answer questions. This event will take place on Tuesday 12th December 2023 between 4pm and 8pm. In addition, the exhibition boards and further information are available to view on our dedicated webpage: www.breedongroup.com/tincornhill-quarry-public-consultation

If you are unable to attend the first event, Breedon will be holding a 2nd public event at The Cabin, Sorn between 4pm and 8pm on Tuesday 23rd January 2024.

Please note that this is a pre-application consultation run by Breedon. Any comments made at this stage should be directed to Breedon and will be considered in the finalisation of the planning application. Comments made during this pre-application consultation process are not representations to East Ayrshire Council. An opportunity to make representations to the Council will exist when a formal application is made.
