Notice under regulation 7

Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant

Arena Development, Edinburgh Park

Proposal: Proposed arena development (Class 11) including

Class 1A (Retail), Class 3 (Restaurants and cafes) and ancillary hot food/bar amenities with associated public realm, access, landscaping, parking and infrastructure

Site Location: Land at Station Park/Lochside Court, Edinburgh

Park, Edinburgh EH12 9DT

The public consultation will commence on Monday

27 November 2023 with the launch of the dedicated website containing information on the proposals and confirming the

consultation events/opportunities: www.edinburghparkarena.com Online engagement opportunities: view an online exhibition of the forthcoming arena proposals; and, complete our short survey to provide feedback/comments.

Two in-person public exhibition events will take place at 1 New Park Square, Edinburgh Park EH12 9GR on: Monday 04 December 2023 (3pm-7pm); and, Tuesday 09 January 2024 (3pm-7pm).

Those wishing to make comments on the proposals may do so  at the above events or via the above website from Monday 

04 December 2023 until Tuesday 16 January 2024 (survey deadline).

This notice does not relate to a live planning application. 

Comments on the emerging proposals should be made to the project team at the in-person events or via the website, and not to the City of Edinburgh Council.  Any comments made at this preapplication stage are not formal representations to the planning authority in respect of any future planning application.

As part of any future planning application submitted to the City of

Edinburgh Council (as planning authority), normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time, with opportunity at that juncture to make formal representations on the proposals.
