What is planned?

INTENDED DISPOSAL BY LEASE OF OPEN SPACE LAND AT

Osborne Road Recreation Ground, Osborne Road, Warsash, Fareham, Hampshire SO31 9GG

Section 123 (1), (2A) Local Government Act 1972

Notice is hereby given that Fareham Borough Council, pursuant to powers under Section 123(1), (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972, intends to dispose of a leasehold interest in the land specified below, in response to a request from EE Limited and Hutchison 3G UK Limited in accordance with their statutory rights under Schedule 3A of the Communications Act 2003.

Part of land known as Osborne Road Recreation Ground, Osborne Road, Warsash, Fareham Hampshire SO31 9GG

and are also available for inspection in the offices of Fareham Borough Council at Civic Offices, Civic Way, Fareham, Hampshire PO16 7AZ during the following times: Monday to Friday 08:45-17:15

PURPOSE OF DISPOSAL

Fareham Borough Council is to grant a 10 year lease of the land to EE Limited and Hutchison 3G UK Limited in response to their application to deploy electronic communications apparatus on the land pursuant to their statutory rights under Schedule 3A of the Communications Act 2003.

OBJECTIONS

Any objections relating to the intended disposal should be made in writing to the Head of Asset Management at the address below no later than 12 December 2023. Objections should state reference number: EN-044623 and also include the grounds for objection which relate to the loss of open space.
