What is planned?

THE Town and Country Planning (Pre-Application Consultation) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021
PRE-APPLICATION CONSULTATION: Prospective Major Application at Pentland Gait, 595 & 597 Calder Road, Edinburgh, EH11 4HH.

Proposed partial demolition of existing office pavilions (Heriot House and Currie House) and redevelopment of site as mixed-use development including purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) and office floorspace (Class 4).

The in-person public consultation event will take place on Monday 27th November 2023 from 3pm to 7pm. It will be held at Heriot House, 595 Calder Road, Edinburgh EH11 4HH, where you will be able to find out more about the proposal and will also have opportunities to speak to the project team representing the Applicant, HAMCAP Pentland Gait Ltd. Please note that all comments must be sent to the above address and are NOT representations to City of Edinburgh Council. There will be an opportunity to make formal representations to the council, as planning authority, when a planning application is made.
