NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 13 OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION
Proposed development at: St Martin’s Hospital, Littlebourne Road, Canterbury
I give notice that: Homes England is applying to the Canterbury City Council for: outline planning application to include demolition of existing buildings apart from the two southern wings located opposite each other at the south of the site and Lodge House at the north west corner of the site, and development for up to 200 residential dwellings (C3) including the retention and conversion of the southern hospital wings and Lodge House, open space including children’s play, upgraded access off the A257 Littlebourne Road,
and associated landscaping, attenuation, infrastructure and ancillary development. All matters apart from access reserved.
Any owner* of the land or tenant** who wishes to make representations about this application should write to: Canterbury City Council at Council Offices, Military Road, Canterbury CT1 1YW by 7th December 2023.
owner” means a person having a freehold interest or a leasehold interest the unexpired term of which is not less than 7 years, or, in the case of development consisting of the winning or working of minerals, a person entitled to an interest in a mineral in the land (other than oil, gas, coal, gold or silver). ** tenant” means a tenant of an agricultural holding any part of
which is comprised in the land.
