What is planned?

Somerset Council - Planning North Team Town & Country Planning Act 1990 Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015 Planning (Listed Buildings & Conservation Areas) Act 1990

Notice is hereby given that the following applications have been received:

Application No. 52/23/00006: Land South Of, New Road, West Huntspill, Highbridge TA9. Approval of reserved matters, for the erection of 45 dwellings, a car park, public open space & other associated infrastructure. This proposal is a major development & may affect the setting of a listed building.

Application No. 53/23/00019: Runway at Folley Farm, Langport Road, Westonzoyland &, Bridgwater, Somerset. Erection of building for the manufacturing of horticultural growing media. This application is of public interest.

Application No. 37/23/00077: Oakmoor Farm, Coxhill, North Newton, Bridgwater TA7 0BT. Erection of single storey rear (North) extension This development may affect the setting of a public right of way. (Householder application).

Application No. 11/23/00101: Beaufort House, 7 Rectory Road, Burnham on Sea, Somerset, TA8 2BY. Demolition of buildings & the erection of 1 no. new residential units in association to existing care home (revised scheme). This proposal is a major development.

Application No. 08/23/00327: The Town Hall, 36-44 High Street, Bridgwater TA6 3AS. Installation of solar panels to the North & South roof elevations. This site lies within a Conservation Area & the application afreets a listed building.

For applications identified as householder, if an appeal against a refusal of planning permission is submitted, there will be no further opportunity to comment at the appeal stage. Comments welcome by 05/12/2023. Applications can be viewed online https://sdc.scmierset.gov.uk/planrmg_online, or at Council Offices & libraries. Any comments must be submitted in writing either online, by email PlanningCommentsNorth@Somerset.gov.uk or posted to Planning - North Team, Somerset Council, Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, TA6 3 AR (quote the application no). Please include your name & postal address so your comments can be recorded. Responses will be made available for public inspection.
