Sections 67 and/or 73 and 74 of the Planning (Listed Building and Conservation Area) Act 1990

The Town and Country Planning General Regulations 1992
The following will be determined under all/part of the above
23/02281/LB3 - Museum and Art Gallery Mowbray Gardens Burdon Road Sunderland SR1 1PP. Sunderland City Council is applying to the Local Planning Authority for: Proposed internal works (including removal of damaged plaster and stud wall linings) and external works and alterations to roof (including new lead cover flashings and lead hips; replacement of flat roof of central tower; and removal of flagpole, access equipment to roof, and 2no. rooflights (to be replaced with slate roofing to match existing); guttering (replace existing lead guttering with stainless steel equivalent); pipework (removal of defected, redundant pipes); and external door to central tower (to be replaced with louvred door).
The above application relates to development intended to be carried out by the City of Sunderland and relates to a Grade II Listed Building and affects the setting of various listed buildings included in the Statutory List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest.
Copies of the applications and plans are available for inspection at City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland, SR1 3AA, during normal office hours Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm please note this is a self-serve facility. Alternatively, you can make comment and view plans via the internet at https://www.sunderland.gov.uk/online-applications/ within 21 days beginning with the date of publication of this notice.
