The Bell Foundry, 32-34 Whitechapel Road, 2 Fieldgate Street and land to the rear, London, E1 1EW PA/23/01958 Application under Section 19 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. Variation of Conditions 9 (Method Statements of Structural Work) and 11 (Materials) of Listed Building Consent ref PA/19/00009, dated 13/05/2021. The Variation seeks to amend the wording of the conditions to allow for discharge prior to the commencement of specific areas of work. The previously consented scheme granted permission for: 'Part retention of B2 land use (foundry) and internal alterations and refurbishment of listed building to provide new workshops/workspaces (B1 land use) and cafe (A3 land use) at ground floor. NOTIFICATION THAT A PLANNING APPLICATION HAS BEEN DETERMINED Location: Ensign House, 17 Admirals Way, Isle of Dogs, London, E14 9XQ Description: Demolition of the existing building (Use Class E) and the comprehensive redevelopment of the site to provide a single tall building (205m AOD to the top of the building and 230m AOD to the top of the spire) providing residential accommodation (Use Class C3) along with a mix of flexible commercial uses (Use Class E) at ground floor level with associated hard and soft landscaping including the delivery of a new pocket park providing general public realm improvements.
