NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION
NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15 OF TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND) ORDER 2015 AND UNDER THE PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS AND CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990
KCC/SW/0202/2023 – Proposed development at Rodmersham Primary School, Rodmersham Green, Rodmersham, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME9 0PS.
Kent County Council is applying to Kent County Council Planning Applications Group for planning permission for the Construction of a single-storey extension to provide a Headteacher’s office and staff room, together with retrospective temporary planning permission for three separate outbuildings - i) an existing log cabin known as the F.L.O & library building, which will need to be relocated to accommodate the new extension; ii) an existing shed, known as the F.O.R.S shed & iii) a small modular cabin, originally used for teaching music, but currently being used as a Headteacher’s office.
The proposed development is within the Rodmersham Green Conservation Area and is likely to affect its character and/or appearance, and could also affect the setting of a listed building.
