What is planned?

NOTICE OF DEDICATION OF A PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 - SECTION 25 YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY AND JULIA MAY CARR, SYLVIA ANNE CLOSE & CAROLINE SUSANNAH CLOSE PUBLIC PATH CREATION AGREEMENT

RELATING TO LAND AT MARRICK PARK, MARRICK RICHMOND, NORTH YORKSHIRE TO BE KNOWN AS BRIDLEWAY NO. 33 IN THE PARISH OF MARRICK

The above named Agreement, made on 16 October, 2023 under Section 25 of the Highways Act 1980, has the effect of upgrading the existing footpath and creating the public Bridleway described below.

The Bridleway commencing in Marrick Village at Grid Reference SE 0797 9819, proceeding in an easterly direction to a field gate at Grid Reference SE 0807 9821 and continuing south easterly to a field gate at Grid Reference SE 0820 9810 following the track bearing east, south, east to its junction with a footpath and bearing east, north east to field gates at Grid References SE 0846 981 and SE 0857 9814 to by-pass the cattle-grids, continuing along the track in an easterly direction to a field gate at Grid Reference SE 0879 9816, continuing towards Marrick Park and passing through field gates at Grid References SE 0902 9815, SE 0909 9815, SE 0917 9815 and SE 0925 9815, continuing east, north easterly passing a disused quarry to a by-pass cattle grid and field gate at Grid Reference SE 0974 9820, following the track north easterly to a by-pass cattle grid and field gate at Grid Reference SE 0999 9839 to Low Oxque where it joins the existing Bridleway at Grid Reference SE 1013 9859. Approximate length: 2.5 km Width: 3 metres.
