The following planning applications have been received which are either within a Conservation Area or affect its setting

1.   Formation of two additional floors and creation of six trade counter units within existing building and external alterations to existing brick clad portal framed industrial unit at 507A, Bradford Road, Batley.  Application No. 2023/92278.

2.   Erection of 40 bed care home and 12 independent supported living units (use class C2) with associated works including the formation of car park and service access at Land adjacent, 36 Oxford Road, Dewsbury.  Application No.

2023/92712.

The following planning applications have been received which affect a public right of way

3.   Erection of rear balcony at 16, Upper Croft Road, Healey, Batley (Footpath No. BAT/29/10).  Application No. 2023/92746.

4.   Erection of single storey side extension and alterations at 2, Heron Close, Ravensthorpe, Dewsbury (Footpath No. DEW/103/10).  Application No. 2023/92947.

The following planning application has been received which constitutes Major Development and affects a public right of way

5.    Erection of 40 bed care home and 12 independent supported living units (use class C2) with associated works including the formation of car park and service access at Land adjacent, 36 Oxford Road, Dewsbury (Footpath No. DEW/113/10).  Application No. 2023/92712.

The following planning application has been received which constitutes Major Development and affects a public right of way – AMENDED DESCRIPTION

6.   External alterations, installation of new canopies to existing building; external alterations to decked car park; surface car parking alterations and landscaping at Ikea, Holden Ing Way, Birstall, Batley (Footpath No. BAT/8/40).  Application No. 2023/92709.

The following planning applications have been received which constitute Major Development

7.    Variation condition 2 (plans) on previous permission 2020/92802 for erection of 10 dwellings with associated infrastructure at Land at, Whitehall Road West, Birkenshaw.  Application No. 2023/92875.

8.    Formation of two additional floors and creation of six trade counter units within existing building and external alterations to existing brick clad portal framed industrial unit (within a Conservation Area) at 507A, Bradford Road, Batley.  Application No. 2023/92278.
