NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - Chorley Hall Lane, Alderley Edge

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic - Chorley Hall Lane, Alderley Edge - From the junction of Congleton Road to the junction of South Grove.

The alternative route will be via Chorley Hall Lane, Ryleys Lane, Wilmslow Road, London Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route. This order will come into operation on Monday 15 January 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 26 January 2024.

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic - Bucklow Farm Lane, Knutsford - For the full extent.

No alternative route.

Pinfold Lane, Knutsford - From the junction of Merry Farm Lane to the Oak Bank.

The alternative route will be via Pinfold Lane, Plumley Moor Road, Chester Road, Northwich Road, Sudlow Lane, Pinfold Lane and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 20 November 2023 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 1 December 2023.
