LAND AT HOLDEN FOLD, DARWEN
NOTICE is hereby given under Section 122 of the Local Government Act 1972 that Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council intends to appropriate the following land for planning purposes currently held by the Resources and Growth & Development portfolio to that of the Growth & Development portfolio to enable the site to be developed for housing:-
being an area of land approximately 20.79 acres or thereabouts at Holden Fold, Blackburn which consists of a mix of former school playing fields, former school land and open land.
A plan showing the area of the land intended to be appropriated may be inspected at the Public Notice Board in front of the Old Town Hall building, King William Street Blackburn BB1 7DY and at Darwen Town Hall Front Desk.
Objections to the intended appropriation must be made in writing and addressed to the undersigned by no later than 27th October 2023.
