What is planned?

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be advertised under the above legislation for the reasons stated.

Application No: ZA23/25351/FUL. Proposal: Change of use from offices (Use Class E) to 2 no. residential units (Use Class C3) for Mrs Joyce Varley. Location: 4A Mill Bridge Skipton BD23 1NJ Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA23/25352/LBC. Proposal: Change of use from offices (Use Class E) to 2 no. residential units (Use Class C3) for Mrs Joyce Varley. Location: 4A Mill Bridge Skipton BD23 1NJ Reason(s): Proposes works to a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA23/25297/LBC. Proposal: Alterations and refurbishment of dwelling, subsequent to approved application ZA23/25352/LBC (decided 28.05.2021) to include: roof overhaul; replacement of Smithy door; confirmation of internal layout to include removal of timber stairs; and confirmation of finishes externally to stone and landscape for Mr Carr. Location: Pear Tree Cottage Main Street Ingleton LA6 3HG Reason(s): Proposes works to a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA23/25400/FUL. Proposal: Conversion of agricultural building to a dwelling. for The Executors of Colin Ridsdale. Location: Woodside Farm Keighley Road Cowling BD22 0AE Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA23/25374/FUL. Proposal: Construction of garden outbuilding for Mr Leslie Ingham. Location: Croft Barn Shop Lane Cowling BD22 0LS Reason(s): Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA23/25404/HH. Proposal: Proposed rear two storey and single storey extension and demolition of existing detached garage. for Mr Chris Lumsden. Location: Hillcrest St Johns Street Cononley BD20 8LE Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA23/25396/VAR. Proposal: Application for variation of condition number 2 on planning application reference number 2021/23419/VAR granted 07 March 2022 to allow development of site in accordance with new plans submitted for the consented site. for R N Wooler Co Ltd. Location: Land West of Cricket Club Shires Lane Embsay BD23 6RR Reason(s): Is a Major Development proposal.

Application No: ZA23/25408/FUL. Proposal: Construction of new corner shopfront to existing rental shop for Mr Andy Gould. Location: 73 Keighley Road Skipton BD23 2LX Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA23/25200/FUL. Proposal: Change of use of 3 bedroomed house with study and lounge to a 5 roomed counselling centre. for Mrs Anne Andrieux. Location: 9 Brindley Wharf Skipton BD23 2UP Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA23/25296/HH. Proposal: Alterations and refurbishment of dwelling, subsequent to approved application 2020/21498/HH (decided 28.05.2021) to include: roof overhaul; replacement of Smithy door; confirmation of internal layout to include removal of timber stairs; and confirmation of finishes externally to stone and landscape for Mr Carr. Location: Pear Tree Cottage Main Street Ingleton LA6 3HG Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 9th November 2023.
