(FERNDALE ROAD, GILLINGHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LEFT TURN) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic For inspection and test of Combined Sewer Overflow monitoring equipment -
Ferndale Road, Gillingham – westbound traffic in Ferndale Road will be prohibited from turning left into Gillingham Road. An alternative route will be available via Ingram Road, Church Street and turn at The Strand roundabout. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 7 November 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 7 November 2023 and are programmed for completion within two nights (with works taking place between between midnight and 4am each night). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs
are being displayed.

(COOLING ROAD, HIGH HALSTOW)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a new telephone connection to be made -
Cooling Road, High Halstow - to be closed to all vehicular traffic from the junction with Christmas Lane for a distance of 450 metres in a westerly direction. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Christmas Lane, A228, Hollywood Lane, B2000, Cooling Road, Main Road, and Lipwell Hill.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 7 November 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 7 November 2023 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 9.30am and 3.30pm). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(BLUE BOAR LANE, ROCHESTER)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable pedestrian and cycle improvements to be carried out -
Blue Boar Lane, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Corporation Street and for a distance of 90 metres in a north-easterly direction. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. No alternative route is available. Emergency access will be maintained.
This Order came into force on Friday, 13 October and continues in force a Notice issued on Monday, 9 October 2023. The Order will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works were due to commence on or after Monday, 9 October 2023 and were programmed for completion within four
weeks. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to facilitate the urgent installation of electricity cables -
Mierscourt Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Tyler Drive and for a distance of 25 metres in a north-easterly direction Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Dolphin Drive, Desanwood Drive and Tyler Drive.
This Order will come into force on Friday, 20 October 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Friday, 20 October 2023 and are programmed for completion within five weeks. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a telephone pole to be safety removed and replaced -
Magpie Hall Road, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between points 20 metres north and 20 metres south of the junction with Lester Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Maidstone Road, Railway Street, Best Street, Brook Street and New Road.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 24 October 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 24 October 2023 and are programmed for completion within two days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable overnight highway improvement works to be carried out -
Lords Wood Lane, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junctionwith North Dane Road and the junction with Kingston Close. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Albemarle Road.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 28 November 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 28 November 2023 and are programmed for completion within three nights (works commence 8pm each night). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

Westergate Road, Strood - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Orchard Avenue and the junction with Gorse Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be provided and signed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out -
St Marys Road, Strood - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 1 St Marys Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Burgess Road, Grange Road and Vicarage Road.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 31 October 2023 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 31 October 2023 and are programmed for completion within seven days. (AMENDMENT NO.38) ORDER 2023
NOTICE OF MAKING
SUNNYMEAD AVE, GILLINGHAM ME7 2DZ
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council on 12 October 2023 made the abovementioned Order under sections 1, 2, 45, 46, 53 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The general effect of the Amendment Order, which comes into operation on 23 October 2023, will be to separate the permit parking bay to facilitate a new 9.5m dropped kerb and shared vehicle crossing outside Nos.52 and 54 Sunnymead Avenue, for driveway access.
Copies of the Order and of other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order can be requested by sending an email to parkingdesign@medway.gov.uk
Persons wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the above date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
