The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

The Council has received a major planning application ST/0676/23/FUL for full planning permission for the demolition of existing buildings and structures and the erection of up to 260 residential units (Use Class C3) with associated access, car parking, landscaping, engineering and infrastructure at South Tyneside College, St.Georges Avenue, South Shields. The proposed development does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated, is major development, affects the setting of listed buildings and affects the character and appearance of a Conservation
Area. The application, plans and other submitted documents can be viewed online on the Council’s website
www.southtyneside.gov.uk/planningexplorer or during normal office hours at the Customer Service Centre at the address below. If you wish to view a hard copy of the application and associated plans an appointment must be
made with the case officer dealing with the application. The Council has received an application ST/0490/23/HFUL to reinstate gates to drive at 2 North Street, Cleadon, SR6 7PL which is within the Cleadon Village Conservation Area. The application, plans and other

The Council has received an application ST/0644/23/LBC for Listed Building Consent sought for repairs to orangery/seed house and repair and reinstatement of decorative frieze at Seed House to the rear of Whitburn
Hall, Front Street, Whitburn, SR6 7JQ which is a listed building. The application, plans and other submitted documents can be viewed online on the Council’s website www.southtyneside.gov.uk/planningexplorer or during
