NOTICE OF MAKING A PUBLIC PATH ORDERS SOMERSET COUNCIL
PUBLIC FOOTPATHS WN 30/3 (pt) & WN 30/4 (pt) (OFF DANCING LANE, WINCANTON)
PUBLIC FOOTPATH DIVERSION ORDER 2023
The above order was made on the 7th day of September 2023 The effect of the order will be to divert those parts of Public Footpath WN 30/3 and 30/4 as described in the schedule below and as shown on the Order plan.
A copy of the confirmed order and the order map may be seen at Somerset Council, Petters Way, Yeovil BA20 free of charge between 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Copies of the order and map may be obtained there free of charge or by contacting Daniel.Gordon@somerset.gov.uk. Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to Daniel Gordon, Council Offices, Brympton Way, Yeovil BA20 2HT not later than the 19th of October. Please state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Somerset Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.

Description of Site of Existing Path
Public Footpath WN 30/03
The full width of that part of Public Footpath WN 30/03 commencing at Grid Reference 370344, 128852 (Point A on the Plan) and running in a generally north north-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 103 meters to its junction with Public Footpath WN 30/04 at Grid Reference 370397, 128939 (Point B on the Plan) then continuing for a further 47 metres in a generally north easterly direction to Grid Reference 370435, 128964 (Point C on the Plan).
Public Footpath WN 30/04
The full width of that part of Public Footpath WN30/04 commencing at its junction with Dancing Lane at Grid Reference 370526, 128839 (Point D on the Plan) and running in a generally north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 166 metres to its junction with Public Footpath, WN 30/03 at Grid Reference 370397, 128939 (Point B on the Plan).

Description of Site of New Path
Public Footpath, 2 metres wide, commencing at Grid Reference 370344, 128852 (Point A on the Plan) and running in a generally north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 114 metres to Grid Reference 370420, 128936 (Point E on the Plan) then continuing north north-easterly for a further 32 metres to Grid Reference 370435, 128964 (Point C on the Plan). Public Footpath, 2 metres wide, commencing at its junction with Dancing Lane at Grid Reference 370529, 128843 (Point F on the Plan) and running in a generally north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 145 metres to Grid Reference 370420, 128936 (Point E on the Plan).
