NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF MODIFICATION ORDER
DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT FOR THE COUNTY OF DERBYSHIRE
THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH BETWEEN BOSTOCK’S LANE AND PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 17 – PARISH OF RISLEY) MODIFICATION ORDER 2011

On 28 June 2023 the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the above named Order.
The effect of the Order, as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the County of Derbyshire by adding to them a footpath in the Parish of Risley from Point A (Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (“GR”) (GR SK 4700 3562) proceeding in a generally west south westerly direction to Point B (GR SK 4665 3551), a distance of 375 metres or thereabouts with a width varying between 2.0 and 13.5 metres.
A copy of the confirmed Order and the map are available to view on the Council website at: www.derbyshire.gov.uk/rightsofwaynotices . Documents can also be seen free of charge at County Hall, Matlock during normal office hours where copies may be bought at the price of £1.00 or at Sandiacre Library, Doncaster Avenue, Sandiacre, Derbyshire, NG10 5FJ.
The order comes into force on 28 June 2023, but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, or any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Schedule 15 paragraph 12 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, within 6 weeks from the date of publication of this notice make an application to the High Court.
