What is planned?

The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 29 September 2023 quoting the reference number. All views expressed regarding a planning application will be considered and placed on a file, which is open to the public.

BISHOPSTROW & WARMINSTER; PL/2023/07057 -Bishopstrow House, Boreham, Variation of condition 2 of 18/07238/FUL;

BRATTON PL/2023/07170 - Land north of Westbury Road & west of Court Orchard, Reserved Matters application for the erection of 31 No. dwellings & associated works pursuant to PL/2021/05259;

HEYWOOD PL/2023/07050 - Clanger Farm, Clanger Lane, Extension;

MELKSHAM PL/2023/06725 - Land at Longleaze Lane, Construction of elderly care home with associated access works, landscaping 6 drainage;

TROWBRIDGE PL/2023/07180 & PL/2023/07241 - 7 Silver Street, Change of use from shop to shop & three dwellings with associated alterations;

WARMINSTER PL/2023/07274 & PL/2023/07244 - 16 High Street, Internal alterations to create two flats;

WESTBURY PL/2023/07197 - Phil Stokes Motorcycles, West End, Conversion of section of shop into a dwelling;

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 PUBLIC INQUIRY AT THE WHITE HORSE ENTERPRISE CENTRE, ASCOT COURT, TROWBRIDGE, WILTSHIRE, BA14 0XA.

OPENING 3RD OCTOBER 2023 AT 10:00. REASON FOR INQUIRY APPEAL BY WADDETON PARK LTD Relating to the application to Wiltshire Council for Outline planning permission with all matters reserved except access for the erection of up to 180 residential dwellings (Use Class C3); site servicing; laying out of open space and associated planting; creation of new roads, accesses and paths; installation of services; and drainage infrastructure at Land South of Trowbridge, Wiltshire

An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold an Inquiry opening on the date shown above to decide the appeal.

The Inquiry will be held as an in-person event for 4 days between 3rd October to 6th October and as a virtual event for 1 day on 9th October. Members of the public may attend the Inquiry and, at the Inspector's discretion, express their views.
