CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SEMLEY ROAD, NORBURY TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate new water connection works on behalf of Thames Water they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Semley Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Semley Road will be closed between its junctions with London Road and Semley Place.
3. Whilst the closure is in place the diversion routes for traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.
- Via London Road, Stanford Road and Bavant Road and Semley Road.
- Via Semley Road, Hatch Road, Tylecroft Road and London Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 15 September 2023, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within nine days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new box and ducting on behalf of Openreach, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Shirley Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting restrictions will apply at any time outside Nos. 56 to 66 Shirley Road.
3. The Order will come into operation on 15 September 2023, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed in one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
