TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) ORDER 2015 NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 13 OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION

I give notice that Ashall Projects (Blackpool) Ltd is applying to Blackpool Council for Planning Permission for erection of a part single and part four storey link extension with roof top terrace to the former sorting office, a three storey rear extension to the former Post Office and internal and external alterations to both buildings and provision of terraced areas in the courtyard following the demolition of the existing fourth floor roof extension to the former sorting office, the demolition of rear staircase enclosure and roof structures to the former Post Office and demolition of various structures in the courtyard and use as altered as a hotel with ancillary facilities, associated car parking and access from Edward Street and servicing access from Queen Vera’s Road.

This proposal is being publicised because it constitutes a major development and affects the character of a Conservation Area Quote Ref: 22/0933. I give notice that Mr Seddon is applying to Blackpool Council for Planning Permission for erection of a single storey rear extension. At 36-42 Queens Promenade, Blackpool, FY2 9RW. This proposal is being publicised because it affects the character of a Conservation Area Quote Ref: 23/0577. I give notice that Blackpool Grand Theatre Trust is applying to Blackpool Council for Listed Building Consent for replacement of the pitched slate roof to the offices with new welsh slate inclusive of breathable membrane and treated timber battens, skylight replacement, lead valley gutter replacement and lead work to the existing studio skylight glazing bars, reinstatement of the pineapple finial leaves and copper scrolls to the dome and fitment of new steel pins insertion to rebuild the front pediment. Repointing of the chimneys and the north and west elevations to include mortar repairs to isolated areas of stonework, redecorate the existing timber windows and the decorative rendering, replace existing rainwater goods with cast iron painted black, following removal

of redundant air con units, drain pipes, rotted timber, failing mortar, front pediment and descale of the corner facade and associated ancillary works as required. This proposal is being publicised because it affects the character of a Conservation Area and is a Grade II* Listed Theatre Quote Ref: 23/0600.
