What is planned?

An application has been made to Portsmouth City Council in respect of the following:
LOCATION: Portsbridge Car Park (South) in the West to Althorpe Drive in the East (including all compounds and access to the public highway)
PROPOSAL: Flood and coastal erosion management scheme comprising a combination of raised earth embankments with rock and concrete revetments (to incorporate a new coastal path), retaining walls, upgrading of existing slipway, encasing of the 2no. bridge abutments, provisions of additional seating and viewing areas, improvements to existing timber fishing platforms and associated works, compounds, utility diversions, tree removal & vegetation clearance, ecological improvements, landscaping and public realm features. The proposal constitutes EIA development. (23/00798/FUL)
