1. NOTICE is hereby given for the purposes of Section 123 (2a) of the Local Government Act 1972 that The Borough Council of Worthing proposes to dispose of Land at Pond Lane Recreation Ground Pond Lane Worthing West Sussex know as Part of Pavilion and totalling 1300 square meters.

2. The intended disposal will be by way of a grant of a lease for a term of 10 years.

3. A plan showing the land concerned may be inspected at the offices of the Council at Worthing Town Hall Chapel Road Worthing West Sussex BN11 1HA between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and between 9.00am and 4.00pm on Friday (public holidays excepted). A copy of this Notice and the above mentioned plan is available at:

4. Any objections or representations with respect to the proposed disposal may be sent to Joanne Lee, Head of Legal Services, The Borough Council of Worthing, Town Hall, Chapel Road, Worthing, BN11 1HA to be received not later than 5.00pm on 14th July 2023.
