What is planned?

D7209 Armadale Road, Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023 
On 28 June 2023 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D7209 Armadale Road, Woking that extends alongside the southern property boundary of “No.7 Armadale Road, Woking”. This Temporary Traffic Order is required to enable BT Openreach to carry out carriageway reinstatement and/or cabling and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9am and 5pm, within 2 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 03 July 2023. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. There is no applicable vehicular diversion route however in the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.  Saunders Lane (D3680) Woking and Goose Lane (D3781) Woking Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023 
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Saunders Lane (D3680) Woking as extends from its junction with (D3680) Hook Heath Road to its junction with (B380) Smarts Heath Road and; (b) that length of Goose Lane (D3781) Woking as extends from its junction with (D3680) Saunders Lane and to its junction with the property known as “Willow Lodge”. Alternative Route: (1) Saunders Lane, Black Horse Road, and (B380) Smarts Heath Road and; (2) Goose Lane and Smarts Heath Road. This Order is required to facilitate highways improvement and/or maintenance works by or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 26 July 2023.Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road including access by emergency vehicles to these properties will be maintained only when safe to do so, if necessary, via the diversion route. All other traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. During certain phases of the works, vehicular access to premises may be restricted, when this is the case such restriction of access will apply for no more than eight hours within any 24-hour period. 
D3706 Moor Lane, Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023 
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D3706 Moor Lane, Woking that extends from the eastern side of the access to “Langhurst”, to the south-eastern property boundary of “Langhurst”. This Traffic Order is required to enable BT Openreach to carry out telegraph pole replacement and/or cabling and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm within 2 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 19 July 2023. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
