23/01214/LBC - National Trust Washington Old Hall The Avenue Washington Village Washington NE38 7LE. National Trust is applying to the Local Planning Authority for: External access improvements to provide new access ramp, with partial removal of terrace walls and alterations to knot garden paths, steps and walls. Create new opening to garden boundary wall. Fitting of handrails and external wall mounted lighting along new and existing path routes, with new surfacing and landscaping. Removal of external platform lift (and wiring) and reinstate the wall. Removal of storage shed, realignment of water supply (nw corner) and trenching for utilities.
This relates to a Grade I Listed Building included in the Statutory List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest.
23/01266/FUL - 16 Nile Street Sunderland SR1 1EY. Town is applying to the Local Planning Authority for: Change of use from commercial to mixed commercial and residential.
23/01129/VAR - Former North Eastern Railway Stables Easington Street Sunderland SR5 1BA.
Building Design Northern Developments is applying to the Local Planning Authority for: Variation of Condition 2 (plans) and Condition 15 (bin store) attached to planning permission Ref: 22/00106/FUL (Proposed restoration and change of use of the Former North Eastern Railway Stables to a food and drink, leisure and entertainment venue (Sui Generis), including demolition of building to northern part of site and erection of replacement building, two storey extension to building to western part of site, re-construction of upper part of building to southern part of site, and insertion of doors, window openings and roof lights) to vary uses within the buildings, to amend the main paddock area, for alterations to detailing and openings on buildings, the reduction in height of western extension to 1.5 storeys, pitch roof to northern building, serving hatch to south of Zone 1 building, clock to bullseye at front and rear of archway, and re-location of bin store.
This relates to a proposal which affects the setting of listed buildings included in the Statutory List of Buildings of Architectural or Historic Interest.
Copies of the applications and plans are available for inspection at City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland, SR1 3AA, during normal office hours Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm please note this is a self-serve facility. Alternatively, you can make comment and view plans via the internet at https://www.sunderland.gov.uk/online-applications/ within 21 days beginning with the date of publication of this notice.
