What is planned?

The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 (As Amended) Regulation 7

NOTICE OF PRE-APPLICATION CONSULTATION

Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission pic (the Applicant), operating and known as Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks Transmission (SSEN Transmission), hereby submits notification of pre-application consultation for: Development of new substation platform accommodating four grid transformers, Air Insulated Switchgear, two regulating transformers, a control building, a switchgear building, upgrades to existing access point from the A82 and new site access, permanent/temporary access track(s), temporary construction compound(s), earthworks, underground cabling, cable bridge, drainage proposals, landscaping, tree felling, removal of old transformers and equipment at the Power Station and removal of redundant overhead line apparatus at Land south of Sloy Power Station, Arrochar, G83 7DP

A public consultation event will be held at Arrochar Village Hall on Tuesday 6 June 2023 at 13:30 to 18:30.

An additional public consultation event will be held in August 2023 - with further details to be published at least 7 days in advance of this.

These comments must be received no later than 30 June 2023

Please note that any comments made to the Applicant are not representations to Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority. There will be opportunity to make representations to the local planning authority following the submission of the application.
