Wolverhampton and Midland Counties Eye Infirmary - Stopping Of Highway
What is planned?
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (West Midlands) (No.17) Order 2023” authorising the stopping up of an arrowhead shaped area of highway lying east of the former Wolverhampton and Midland Counties Eye Infirmary at Wolverhampton, in the City of Wolverhampton. This is to enable development as permitted by City of Wolverhampton Council, under reference 22/00683/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/WM/S247/5389).
They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Highways Asset Management, City of Wolverhampton Council, Civic Centre, St Peters Square, Wolverhampton WV1 1RG.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 19 May 2023. C Newton, Casework Manager
