What is planned?

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

SWALE AREA

Breach Lane, Newington.​ ME9 7DH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2023
To allow overhead structure works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Breach Lane, Newington, on or after 4th May 2023, for up to one day, between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Boxted Lane, for approximately 100M northwood, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Breach Lane, A2 London Road, A2 Moor Street, Otterham Quay Lane, Horsham Lane, Forge Lane, Breach Lane and vice versa.

Connaught Road, Sittingbourne.​ ME10 1EH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY ORDER​) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2023
To allow mains fitting repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Connaught Road, Sittingbourne, on or after 17th April 2023, for up to 5 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction of Albany Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The One-Way Order on Connaught Road will be temporarily suspended to allow for diverted traffic.
The restrictions on Connaught Road will be in conjunction with temporary traffic signals placed on Albany Road.
The alternative route is via Albany Road, Belmont Road, and Park Road and Albany Road, Valenciennes Road and Park Road.

Harps Avenue, Minster.​ ME12 3PW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2023
To allow for new duct works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Harps Avenue, Minster-on-sea, on or after 18th April 2023, for up to 3 days, between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between numbers 88 and 102, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Scocles Road, Back Lane, B2008 Minster Road and vice versa.

Mount Pleasant, Hildenborough TN11 9JP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2023
To allow lining works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Mount Pleasant, Hildenborough, on or after 3rd May 2023, for up to 3 days, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside number 41 to outside number 55, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Mount Pleasant, Riding Lane, Tonbridge Road and vice versa.

Seed Road, Newnham.​ ME9 0NE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2023
To allow pole works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on  part of Seed Road, Newnham, on or after 19th April 2023, for up to 2 days, between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Sandhurst Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Warren Street, Payden Street, Faversham Road, The Street and vice versa.

Stalisfield Road, Ospringe.​ ME13 0HA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2023
To allow new installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Stalisfield Road, Ospringe, on or after 17th April 2023, for up to 5 days, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of The Bungalow, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Eastling Road, Scooks Hill, Stalisfield Road and vice versa.

Stone Street, Faversham. ME13 3DF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2023
To allow new gas service works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Stone Street, Faversham, on or after 19th April 2023, for up to 7 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of number 66, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via B2040 South Road, B2040 Ospringe Road, A2 London Road, B2041 The Mall, B2041 Forbes Road, Preston Street and vice versa.
