NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER

PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 SECTION 119 AND WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL POTTERNE 7

DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2023

The above order, made on 20 March 2023, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert Footpath Potterne 7 situated at The Gables, Potterne Wick in the parish of Potterne, leading from OSGR SU 0045-5750 in a broadly easterly direction for approximately 114m to OSGR SU 0056-5749, to a new route at OSGR SU 0050-5745, leading in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 60m to OSGR SU 0054-5720 and continuing in a generally east south easterly direction for approximately 21m to OSGR SU 0056-5749, having a width of 2m. And thereupon the Devizes Rural District Council Area Definitive Map and Statement dated 1952 shall be modified accordingly.

Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Wiltshire Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
