DRAFT ARCHES CHATHAM NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
FOR REPRESENTATIONS
Notice is hereby given that Arches Chatham Neighbourhood Forum has submitted its draft Neighbourhood Plan to Medway Council. The plan covers the Arches Chatham Neighbourhood Area and sets out local community aspirations over the plan period 2022 to 2040 with policies related to land use and development.
Medway Council is inviting comments from residents and other interested
stakeholders on the Arches Chatham Neighbourhood Plan, in accordance with
the requirements of Neighbourhood Planning Regulations. The period for
representations will run from Friday, 17 March to Sunday, 30 April 2023.

Copies of the draft plan are available for inspection at:
• Luton Library (during normal opening hours)
• Chatham, Gillingham, Strood and Rochester Community Hubs (during normal
opening hours)
• Medway Council offices at Gun Wharf (during normal opening hours)
The council’s website provides details of how to submit comments online. Any
representations may include a request to be notified regarding Medway Council’s decision under Regulation 19 whether to make the Neighbourhood Plan for Arches Chatham.
The closing date for comments is 11.55pm on Sunday, 30 April 2023.
