The Council made the above Order made on the 13th February 2023. The effect of the Order will be to divert an existing section of Footpath No. 14So, which is shown by a continuous black line between Points A to D on land opposite 269 to 287 Old Shoreham Road, Southwick, West Sussex.

The new route of the footpath having a minimum width of 3 metres throughout commences at Point A on the Order Map (Grid ref: X525224 Y105890) running in a westerly direction for approximately 6.6 metres to Point B (Grid ref: X525216 Y105890) then continuing in a southerly direction for approximately 94 metres to Point C (Grid ref: X525217 Y105794) then continuing in an easterly direction for approximately 62.2 metres to Point D (X525277 Y105797) as shown by a broken black line on the Order Map.

Copies of the Order and Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at The Shoreham Centre, Pond Road, Shoreham-by-Sea BN43 5WU. Copies of the Order and Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge on the website of Adur District Council at Copies may be purchased from the Head of Legal Services at Adur District Council at the price of £5.00.

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Head of Planning and Development, Adur District Council, The Town Hall, Chapel Road, Worthing BN11 1HA (quoting ref: AWDM/1154/21) or by email to not later than 3rd April 2023. Please state why you object.

If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Adur District Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
