What is planned?

The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 as amended by The Town and Country Planning (Pre-Application Consultation) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021.

Notice under Regulation 7(2) (b) Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant for Erection of mixed-use development potentially comprising residential, hotel, purpose-built student accommodation, along with commercial uses/co-working and amenity space, landscaping and infrastructure at Ocean Point 2, Ocean Drive, Leith, Edinburgh, EH6 6JH. The second of two drop-in events will take place on 7 March 2023 between 2pm and 7pm at Ocean Terminal (within a vacant unit located on the 1st floor, adjacent to & 'Mostyn Mckenzie'), Ocean Drive, Leith, Edinburgh, EH6 6JJ. During this time, members of the project team will be available to respond to any questions and receive feedback on the proposals. If you wish to make comments on the proposals shown at this second event, you may do so via a feedback form available at the event or on the project website, by email or in writing to Orbit Communications no later than 24 March 2023.

This notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to City of Edinburgh Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to City of Edinburgh Council, statutory
neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
